The founders of Mocama Brewing Company have achieved many milestones en route to establishing a full-scale production brewery:

 

• Secured downtown Fernandina Beach production facility in the historic Ford Dealership building

 

• Upon the closing of our first round of capital, we will execute a lease for the premises with an initial term of 10 years, an option to renew at our sole discretion for three additional 5-year terms. We also have the option to purchase the building at any time after year 7​

 

• Confirmed that our site is entitled by right to operate as a brewery and taproom 

 

• Under contract to purchase a .48 acre lot across Gum Street for parking

 

• Assembled a team of successful industry professionals that will be owners and long-term partners 

 

• Designed 30-barrel brewhouse and cellar vessels manufactured by BrewFab LLC

 

• Selected all other necessary equipment to produce and package our products

 

• Retained Studio BNA for facility design, permitting, and construction management

 

• Retained BrewerLong PLLC as corporate counsel for organization and offering documents; to obtain all federal, state and local alcohol licenses; and for trademark registration

 

• In final negotiations with distributors

 

• Identified ingredients suppliers to contract delivery of key hop varieties through 2021
