The initial management team will consist of Derek Imes, Michael Oliveri, and Chris Farmand.

Derek and Michael will jointly perform all tasks associated with construction oversight, equipment procurement and installation, and fabrication of furniture and fixtures. They will live in Fernandina Beach as soon as the Series A financing is closed. They will oversee the branding professionals and artists selected to finalize our brand identity and brand architecture. This includes all names, labels, logotypes, fonts, colors, images, internet and social media, and artwork for the brewery.

Derek will draft and negotiate all agreements and/or contracts with our founding partners Chris Farmand, Kyle Cureton and Eric Kirchner. He will also begin recruiting key employees and negotiating terms of their employment immediately. Distribution partnership agreements do not need to be executed until after we commence taproom operations, but the selection process and negotiations will be ongoing until that time.

Michael Oliveri Studios, Poucher Woodworks, and Studio BNA will design and fabricate all furniture, fixtures, and lighting for the brewery.

Chris will be contracted to serve as CFO for a minimum of three years. During the construction phase he will maintain a schedule of cash, tracking our actual vs. projected cash burn. He will also establish best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our back office. He will assist Derek in the installation of EKOS Brewmaster brewery management software and the taproom point of sale system.

 

Kyle Cureton (BrewFab) will design, build, and install our brewing equipment. His expertise in stainless fabrication will allow us to hard pipe our production area, minimizing our use of brewers hose.

Eric Kirchner (Co-Brewmaster)  will help Derek and our brewing staff develop recipes and source ingredients as needed. He will be contracted to write all production SOPs, commission our brewhouse, and brew initial batches of all core brands from the mash tun to packaging.
